Ans      Moropanth Tambe was a courtier of the Maratha ruler Bajirao II. He was happy because his wife had given birth to a girl child called Manikarna.

Ans      The child grew up to be the Rani of Jhansi and she fought valiantly against the British for her kingdom and the people of Jhansi. Although she died at an early age of 23, yet the tales of her bravery and sacrifice live even today in our hearts. This shows that the sage was right in predicting her fame.
2          What qualities do you see in Nana Saheb?

Ans      Nana Saheb was a man of his word. He had promised Manu that if she ever needed him, he would be there. Years later when Manu needed his help to fight the British, he kept his promise and helped her. He was a true and loyal friend.
